Product Description

The ceiling mount occupancy sensor offered by Maxxima utilizes passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect movement in a room and automatically control the lighting. It is designed to replace a standard light or fan switch and is suitable for residential applications at 120V, such as entryways, hallways, closets, storage areas, and garages. The PIR sensor detects changes in infrared energy emitted by occupants as they move within its coverage area. When occupancy is detected, a built-in relay switches on the connected load, and an internal timer turns off the load after a customizable period of inactivity ranging from 18 seconds to 10 minutes.

This sensor also features adjustable sensitivity, time delay, and light level settings, allowing users to customize it according to their needs. It provides 360-degree coverage with a radius of 10ft - 13ft when mounted at a height of 10ft and has a detection angle of 150 - 180 degrees. The ETL Listed sensor is backed by Maxxima with a 1-year warranty.
