Lutron Motion Sensor Switch

Save energy and add light automation to any room with Lutron's Maestro Occupancy/Vacancy Motion Sensor Switch. This sensor turns lights on when you enter a room and off when you leave, providing convenience and energy savings. The XCT (cross-correlation) sensing technology detects fine motion, such as typing at a desk, to ensure lights won't turn off inadvertently while you're still in the room.

The sensor also features smart ambient light detection, learning your preferred natural light level to keep lights off when it's already bright. You can program the lights to turn off 1, 5, 15, or 30 minutes after leaving the room to further control energy usage. Alternatively, the motion sensor can be set to vacancy-only mode to meet Title 24 requirements, only turning off the lights when you leave a room.

This versatile sensor is suitable for locations like bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchens, and garages. It works with any bulb type, including CFL and LED, and matches the entire Maestro product family line for a complete and coordinated look in your home. For installation, it can be installed using the ground wire if no neutral is available in your home, and coordinating Claro wall plate and accessories are sold separately.
