The GE Motion-Boost Coverlite LED Night Light provides a soft glow while discreetly covering unsightly outlets. This LED night light can fully cover two outlets when one is not in use, but it can also be positioned to keep the second outlet accessible (please note that the light sensing feature may not work properly in this position). With light sensing technology, the night light automatically turns on at dusk and brightens to 40 lumens when motion is detected. It uses long-life LEDs, eliminating the need for bulb replacements, and is energy efficient, costing just a few pennies worth of electricity per year. With Motion-Select technology, you can save money and energy. Using the switch located on the back of the night light, you can choose between Motion-Boost or Motion-Activated mode. In Motion-Activated mode, the night light activates to 40 lumens when motion is detected within a 25-foot range in low light conditions. It automatically turns off after 90 seconds of no motion. In Motion-Boost mode, the night light turns on at a low 3 lumens at dusk, boosts to 40 lumens when motion is detected up to 25 feet away, and then automatically dims back to 3 lumens after 90 seconds of no motion.

The LED night light also features a dusk-to-dawn sensor. In Motion-Boost mode, it automatically turns on at 3 lumens at dusk and turns off at dawn. Please note that this feature is only active when the night light is set to Motion-Boost.
